Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is the All India national level entrance examination conduct for admission into NLUs and top law colleges of India. This exam is managed by the NLUs (National Law Universities) of India on rotation basis. This year, CLAT exam will be organized by the Chankya National Law University, Patna. The reservation criteria are primarily considered during the process of seat allocation or during the CLAT counseling 2017 procedure. The categories which are considered for the seat reservation are Other Backward Class (OBC), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Person with Disability (PwD), Kashmiri Migrants (KM), Candidates Belonging to North-Eastern States, State Quota for the students in which NLU is located & Foreign National Candidate/NRI.
After qualifying the CLAT exam, students will get admission into undergraduate & postgraduate law courses. The total number of seats available for candidates is 2164.
